I have been actively riding a motorbike for a year. I even bought my own motorbike for my transportation like going home, pick power banks orders from my suppliers and meeting my friends. I became addicted on riding lately and in this article I am excited to share to you the major reasons why I am addicted to it.
1. Connection to the world around you.

I felt and experience this when we have a ride in Marilaque highway at Infanta, Quezon. Few vehicles, green surroundings and cool winds penetrating your jacket, the feelings and connections I have with my environment is indescribable. I didn’t feel that when I am riding a car. I know I am not in a cage. I am human interacting with my surroundings.
2. Ultimate freedom.
When you sit in your bike, you have the control to your hands. You can go wherever you want to go. When I acquire my own motorbike, its boost my sense of freedom. It improves and developed me as a human. It pushes my boundaries. Traffic and distance cannot stop me because I have a choice now.
3. You can beat the traffic.

Some of my power bank customers are in Makati. Every time I need to deliver it I have to go through EDSA. EDSA is one of the most challenging roads you can ride here in Metro Manila specially during peak hours. Your motorbike can help you beat the traffic. Its risky, I know!
4. Save more time and spend it to more important.
The reason why I started riding a motorcycle is because I don’t want to be late in work. Before, I live in Montalban, Rizal and I have to travel 3 hrs through commuting, since I want to make my life easier I borrow the motorcycle of my brother and use it everyday going to work. It makes my travel time more predictable and save a lot of stress from traffic and falling in line. Now, I can spent those free time to more important and those that matters most.
5. It’s for the risk takers.

I have to admit that riding a motorcycle is risky. I have crashed twice since I started riding a motorcycle but those crashed taught me to be for defensive and careful in riding. Some people stops riding after crashed, some just pick the lesson and ride again. Many died in riding a motorcycle, most of them are ” KAMOTE RIDERS “, and some are just unfortunate and victims of careless drivers, the truth is, whatever vehicle you are using in the road the risk is there because you can always be a victim of carelessness of others.

That “never ask your mother if you can ride a motorbike, I am 100% sure she will decline”, I felt that. Anyways thanks for sharing. God bless!
